i have no idea what to rate this so it’ll be without a rating for now. let’s just say this book threw me for a wild loop.
EDIT: i’m debating between 3.5 and 4 stars, leaning more towards 3.75. here’s the thing about this book: for about 80-85% of it, it was great. the main character claudia is a character i deeply relate to. her growing friendship with iris is beautiful to watch, and so is her relationship with gideon. HOWEVER, by the end where it all comes crashing down, i was yelling in my head FOR THE LOVE OF GOD PLEASE JUST TALK TO EACH OTHER. other than that, the ending felt rushed and unnatural. it was cute but rushed.
