Married to the Vampire King by Jay Castle

4.0

Ethan might be the son of the Witch Queen, but he’s still a seemingly powerless warlock. In fact he’s normally surrounded by magical misfires, as he ge spells of others go haywire if he’s around.
This makes it even more surprisingly when a previously quiet magic mirror chooses only him to see a prophesy. It showed how he could stop a future fight that would be devastating for both the witch and vampire population, but only through the self sacrificing plan of marrying Nathaniel, king of Seattle vampires.

This book had so many of the things I like in a paranormal romance -
Supernatural political drama, mostly between witches and vampires this time
Fates mates, always fun especially if you add mind reading
A bit of mystery and plenty of action
Supernaturals caring about human issues and working to help was a bonus
Ethan coming into his own was glorious. I’m a fan of when the underdog is key to saving the day.

I look forward to reading more of this series!
