I personally found this to be a pretty good book. If you're looking for a simple yet slow burn romance and smut, nothing too innoventive, then this is a good book.

I love the way Sophie is written, she is a brilliantly honest character with a lot of sass and felt realistic. She was portrayed a little as 'not like other girls' but I didn't think it was too bad. I didn’t expect this book to be as emotional as it was and for Liam to have such an emotional back story. I love the two main characters and how their relationship develops throughout the plot.

There was amazing flirting from the very start between Liam and Sophie. I enjoyed the sarcasm and jokes between the two but sometimes I found the smut quotes a little cringy but again, I didn't think it was too bad. This book, for the most part revolves around a “who will admit they love the other first” trope.

The story has a consistent plot with the first book in the series but you don't need to have read the first to enjoy this story. It is somewhat repetitive if you did read the first book just right at the start and it quickly gets better. There is a lot less of a focus on racing than in the first book. Definitely more about the characters rather than the racing plot.

Super sweet ending! A good story overall with some hot smut.
