This one had a slow start but I was still interested by the mystery and how we’d end up getting there. I’m kind of conflicted about this book because I did enjoy reading it and I was entertained, but some things were predictable and something’s were just strange and out of place. Like what about Johnny? The whole drug overdose seemed like it was just put there for shock value or something. It did not make the characters actions seem more reasonable. I did like Henry though and the kids in the flashbacks were written well, I could believe that they were making dumb kid decisions and having the emotions they felt.
