2.0

I want to start by saying that part of the reason I rated this book only two stars, is because I had very high expectations and they weren't met.

I don't have any intentions to diminish the importance of this story, but I wouldn't be true to myself If I wasn’t honest about my true feeling while reading it.

Now, this is a very uncomfortable read, but that's the point. At times, I felt nauseated and physically hill, but that's a good sign when it comes to this book.

However, I felt disappointed by the over simplistic way this book is written. Of course, a story doesn't have to be complicated or convoluted to be a great story. But the writing felt very robotic. Which is ironic the main character being a robot herself. But we're dealing with human issues and Annie's own humanazation.

I wanted to give up on the story but was afraid to be missing on some major twist and I wanted to give this book a fair shot. But unfortunately the ending just solidified how I don't like how this story, that had so much potential, was told.
