53 Letters for My Lover by Leylah Attar

4.0

I really enjoyed this book, and the blurb is definitely correct when it says that it is not your typical love story. The characters were dynamic and interesting. They make you question morality and the nature of love. I was captivated all the way through, but the ending was a complete cop out. The male lead did an outlandish, out of character thing so we could have a "big misunderstanding" plotline/climax. It left a sour taste in my mouth and coupled with the cheesiness that was piled on in the last chapter, I just couldn't give this five stars.

But I loved most of it and I will most definitely read more from Leylah Attar.
