The Underground Abductor: An Abolitionist Tale by Nathan Hale

5.0

I’m a 31 year old high school and college graduate and I never knew this much about Harriet Tubman. I found this whole in the children’s section with my girls at the library and thought it would be a cute lighthearted historical graphic novel. I adored it. I learned so much. The little characters they use to keep it light and funny throughout for young ones were very funny and at the same point able to point out how outrageous and insane slavery truly was. I am thrilled this book exists and that I had the good fortune of finding it. I am thrilled to know so many more details on the life of Harriet Tubman and her history, it is truly a heartbreaking life and she was an incredible human being. I’m delighted this book exists and urge others to read it.
