His Name was Death by Rafael Bernal

This book is SO much fun!
Here’s the story sans spoilers: A guy gives up on civilization and heads into the Mexican jungle. He’s a drunk, but is accepted by a local tribe. The group believes he is gifted with some sort of wisdom and begin to look to him as a leader. All well and good. BUT THEN… He begins to communicate with mosquitoes and learns of their hierarchical structure and their plans for world domination…
A short, guano-crazy ride of a book! I loved it!
