"Ruin me, ruin us, and I’ll let you."

So, yes. R F Kuang decided to ruin me and ruin us all. I absolutely loved the pacing of the second half of this book and I am absolutely reeling from that ending. I feel hollow and empty. This war had way too many casualties!

"She was a goddess. She was a monster. She‘d nearly destroyed this country. And then she‘d given it one last, gasping chance to live."

Rin's motto was 'if evil is justified, then evil is good.' Kitay, my sweet baby boy genius. Nezha. I still don't know how to feel about you. The trifecta. Venka. That cannibal girl who called the gods and whose name just evaporated from my mind. Also, Rin's stepbrother?!!
Like damn! This ending. This ending. Staring into the blank and waiting for things to make sense. I'm still whispering 'No No No' as if that will make it make sense. So violent, so terrifying and so painful.
