The second book in the Amish Legacy series focuses on Duanes two oldest son’s, Tyler and Korey, as well as Koreys girlfriend Michelle and her friend Charity. Taking place about a year after the end of the first book, here we find Michelle and Korey trying to figure out things in their relationship and Tyler figuring out his feeling for Michelle. His feels cause trouble between him and his brother. While Michelle loves Korey she can’t help but notice how quiet he’s been as well as distant in a way. After various conversations with Tyler, she soon realizes that she might just have feelings for the other brother.

This was an interesting read. I felt that Korey was just pulling Michelle along and honestly treated her terribly. There was a lot of” God’s plan for you” in this book. Yes it’s Christian fiction. Yes I enjoy read said genre. At the end of this book it’s mentioned that a character was told that God would find a way for them and another to be together. This is just after something bad happens. Maybe I took it out of context but after what had just happened, that just doesn’t sit right with me. In all though I did enjoy reading this and am looking forward to book three.

Fans of the first book in this series will enjoy the continuing story as well as reading more of the previous main characters.
