I've been on a kick to learn more about the Weimar Republic and have found this book a great political overview of the transition between a Germany freshly on the heels of WWI, a desire to build a democratic system, and the trends and forces that lead to Hitler. A very readable book overall, although I'll be reading other books to better understand the culture of the Weimar Republic, not just the politics and economics of the short lived system.
