Read this because I had already finished all the books I brought on a trip, so I bought this at the airport. I had never read any of the other books in this series, but I enjoy the TV show Bones, so I thought this would be entertaining. It was a fast read and I often find medical stuff interesting in books like this, but it was terribly terribly predictable. It suffered from the protagonist being completely dense and oblivious for 3/4 of the novel.
