The Black Arts: A Concise History of Witchcraft, Demonology, Astrology, Alchemy, and Other Mystical Practices Throughout the Ages by Richard Cavendish

medium-paced

2.0

The best way to use the information in this Crowley-obsessed book is as an esoteric knowledge calibration tool.
If you can’t correct the book (or the author’s attitude) at least once every other page, you’ve found a topic that you haven’t mastered the basics+ of yet.

Two stars instead of one because in that sense, this book was very useful.
