HIGHLY recommend
My review should be: LOVELY!
But this lovely book deserves so much more than just one word. The storyline, writing, and character development are top-notch and done so well!
Yes, the dollhouses are the reason for the book, but there is so much more. The people who made the dollhouses, why the dollhouses were made, who commissioned or requested the dollhouses, and the stories behind the dollhouses.
This book is the reason that I love, love, love historical fiction.
