I have been really into dark mafia romances lately so I was excited to read the prequel to this series so I can read the other books after this. I have read most of the series now and this was just such a good prequel and one way to get into this series.

I always love a good stalkerish, obsessed man who's ready to do everything to get his girl, so I was a big fan of Kal and his actions. I was just so into his character and I really loved him as a character.

I just really liked the way that the characters got together in this one. It was so exciting and fun to read and I had a really good time reading about them together and how it got to that.

This was just so hot and just so enjoyable to read. This was a fun little novella and such a good way to kick off the series.
