I really liked the first one but this is SO disappointing. The humor is still there, but the police come across as very incompetent in this one. Declan withholds information left and right so just seems sulky and unprofessional rather than smart.
This isn’t even a Whodunnit, as you know right away and they spend a whole book chasing one guy. Hard to believe this is the follow up to a book I enjoyed so much.
