Gah, so GOOD!!! A hugely powerful and emotional sequel to THE FIRE SERMON. I was a mess of emotions through most of it, and now I don't know where to start! To say the least, the action was ramped up and the drama was high, but this was just such a good story. The twists, the alliances, the heartache, the set up for the final book, the absolutely stellar final page and ending paragraphs. I LOVED IT!!! Favourite characters were back and better than ever, and I loved how Cass dealt with everything thrown her way. She reacted in a believable fashion, but never gave up hope, and at the end, began to cope with her grief. Seriously, I can't get over how great this book was. The writing is absolutely beautiful with descriptions and lines that will leave you breathless and stunned. There's no cliffhanger, but I honestly cannot wait to dive into the third book. AMAZING!!!
