I still love this series as a whole, but it was harder to get into this arc as I've never been a fan of Cheryl Blossom. Veronica being in Switzerland also threw a bit of a wrench in the storytelling. It brought a lot of focus on her individually, but I don't think she's an interesting enough character to carry the series alone. Now that she's back in Riverdale I imagine the next volume will be better. Part of the charm of Archie comics is "the gang" hanging out together and getting into hijinks, which this volume lacked! :(
