A funny little YA mashup of THE IMPORTANCE OF BEING EARNEST and “this one time at band camp” featuring a biracial girl, her military family, and one of those rare-but-adorkable teen boys without a sniff of toxic masculinity about him. I enjoyed it a lot and found the love story part both sweet and satisfying.
