The Library by Bella Osborne
5.0
It was a very slow reading year for me, after 2022 being a year of loss, this year I became a mum. My little one came to change my life, and for a while my reading habits.
I was now trying to go back into it but couldn’t find a story that was lighthearted enough to draw me back, until I decided to resume this one.
What’s not to love a story about odd friendships? Tom is 16 and Maggie a few decades older, that’s enough to spark my interest and even more if we add the love for reading as the connection between them… chef’s kiss
There’s a lot in common between these characters, it goes to show that sometimes we have more in common than we think with the people we cross paths with.
I live in a small town and suffice to say, I’m joining the local library as soon as it’s open!
