I received a copy of this in a Goodreads giveaway.
The blurb made this book seem interesting. However, while reading it I was very confused. There was a lot going on and I wasn’t really sure at times where things were going or why we were being introduced to things that seemingly had no meaning to anything.
I also almost DNFed it on the basis of lack of editing. There were so many typos, missing or misused words, punctuation problems, and sentences that didn’t make sense that made me so frustrated as a reader. It was sloppy writing but even sloppier editing.
The book ended right during the middle of the climax. I’m not sure that this story needed to be separated into two books.
