There is so much in each of these books that it's like discovering a new story in the re reading of them. This one moves us toward Jocasta and River Run and the inevitable place where Jamie is again sought to lead men. He and Claire attract notice wherever they venture and one or the other or both end up being sought out members of whichever community they land in.
