I don't think I was the intended audience of this book. I aspire to be in whatever tax bracket allows you to spend hundreds on food and then just pick at it or only take a bite because you don't like it. It just seemed like a grumpy rich man who looks down on common restaurants and hotels and less than pefect food and worries about not having enough money to renovate his second home to his satisfaction. Stanley Tucci apparently spends on one meal out the equivalent to my monthly food budget so I didn't find the book relatable nor was I sympathetic. This man has so much money and privilege that his complaints about bad meals seem so trivial.
