Well, personally to me this sequel is a bit disappointing.
Why? Mostly after read Vengeance, I was expecting a lot more than this. I understand Chelsea's pain, especially when she didn't know the truth about Lizzie. I understand why she did it, she just want herself to be happy with the boy she likes. What I don't like is, the way Garden wrote Chelsea's change of heart. So quick and shadowed by guilt. I don't like it, I want to read Chelsea's battling feeling--I actually looking forward to it, yet I read nothing but Chelsea's feeling guilty and ended up helping Lizzie without a proper closure.
Lizzie, still not my favorite heroine. I really think that she's selfish. She only think about her own happiness and find a way to stay together with Drew without harming herself. I was like, this girl's innocent in a very freaky way. She's not a good friend, she also not a good heroine, in my opinion.
But overall enjoyed the plot. Still, I don't really like the closure. It's like Garden's rushing to finish this book and not paying attention to small details, like how Alistair and Genevive's ending or Chelsea's ending. So yeah, this book is pretty good but not really satisfying.
