The Best We Could Do by Thi Bui

3.0

This was a solid read.

Graphic memoirs always seem to hit differently. My one criticism is the way that the author chose to write this story. It's all about Thi Bui asking her parents about their experience and then the story will switch over to their perspective and back again, and it occasionally got a bit confusing.

But if you're a fan of graphic memoirs, I think this is still worth the read!
