Suki, Alone
by Faith Erin Hicks
Let me just start off by saying that I LOVE Suki. She is so badass and I wish we saw more of here in ATLA, so I was super excited when I found out this comic was coming out.
But...
It was very meh. Read it in like 20 minutes. Disappointed that I didn’t gain anything from this little slice of her POV.
Honestly, the best parts were the flashbacks to growing up on Kyoshi Island. I think a better choice would have been to make the comic completely about her early life training and becoming the leader of the Kyoshi Warriors.
