I have such mixed feelings about this series. The plots are pretty good and the prose is interesting. He dribbles in a lot of sexist and racist things. I'm reading "unpurchased" versions of the books so I feel less bad but still bad. If Horowitz could get over himself a bit and work on his bigoted views his books would be phenomenal. He wouldn't even have to tweak things that much.
Moderate: Racism, Sexism
