I think the thing I liked most about the book is the fact that it was not just a "typical summer romance" where the boy meets the girl and they will fall in love but they need to part ways and as the summer ends, their relationship ends too. Here, they spent their summer building a foundation. They developed their friendship, they helped each other get through that rough phase of their lives, and in some way they didn't even notice it's already happening; that while the summer slowly comes to its end, their forever begins.
