The Lost City of the Monkey God by Douglas Preston
3.75
adventurous informative medium-paced

I enjoyed how wide-ranging the story turned out to be. Not only Douglas Preston described one of the first archaeological discoveries using lidar technology, but he provided a lot of interesting tidbits about Latin American history, especially Honduran history, academic intrigues and backstabbing, Leishmaniasis (I've never heard about this disease before) and more. Definitely a great, informative non-fiction book.
