The Silver Chair by C.S. Lewis
4.0

Okay, this is by far my favourite of the Narnia books so far! I don’t know what it is. I don’t know whether it’s because of Jill, or Puddleglum or the fact that this book doesn’t have any battles (which I always seem to dislike in this series).

This book was so easy to get into and was really engaging the whole way through! I live the quest narrative and this one did it such justice!

I also loved the main trio of characters; Eustace, Jill and Puddleglum. Each of them was so different and really bounced off each other which was so fun to read!

Unfortunately this book still has some sexist issues, but that is to be accepted as a product of its time. All in all, it’s made me excited for the finale - hopefully it lives up!
