Adara is held prisoner by Gavril while Evren tries to figure out how to get her back. Removing her power so Gavril couldn't get it made him even angrier, and of course it's taken out on everyone around them.
Evren finds his way to his mate and leads the kingdoms to a brutal war that won't leave everyone alive. This started to feel really repetitive in terms of goals and motives, but also the intimate scene between Adara and Evren. It was nice to see a little bit of Sorin and Thalia though.
