The spice be spicy.  There seemed to be a lot of plot points going on and they were all good but by the end, the whole grandmas diary storyline seemed irrelevant.  I wished more of the book had been spent on Zade and his business but it seems like that’s what book 2 will be about.  Adeline started out really good but got a little annoying by the end.  Overall a good read but not so good that I want to immediately run and read the second.
