Turn This World Inside Out: The Emergence of Nurturance Culture by Nora Samaran

2.0

I got a few insights out of this, but they were single sentence insights, rather than the big, developed ideas. I suppose part of my dissatisfaction is that I'm starting to think like a sociologist, but this book is more centered on psychology. I think another thing is that the title led me to believe that this would be an ode to or a handbook for or a deep developing of the idea of nurturance culture. It isn't really any of these things. Or maybe it is, but not in a way that I haven't already encountered before?

tl;dr this is by no means a bad book but wasn't what I was looking for.
