i love the simultaneously extremely abstract and extremely detailed writing in this series. i feel like the author is very good at mimicking the feeling of hypnosis and paranoia in words which i think is very hard to do. this book, similar to the first, felt like a manic sci-fi almost paranormal spiral that ends in 50 pages of clarity. 

i’m excited to see what comes next. i hope we go back into area x again (i miss the acid trip dream world a little bit).
