It's a mixed bag. Some of his stories were really good, but others felt underdeveloped. Most of the book was pretty dang bleak, so I was really taken aback (and relieved) when the final story ended on a positive note. No one successfully committed suicide, no one lost their job or their livelihood, etc. 3/5 is probably the median rating for all of the stories.
