I have never been so stressed reading a book as I was reading this.
As Good As Dead was a fantastic conclusion to the AGGGTM series, a series that I flew through and will definitely be returning to.
The series is so cleverly written. There are so many clues scattered throughout that you *just know* are going to come back later, but you can’t work out why. I found myself constantly second guessing myself and I could never work it things out before they happened.
I think the plot is really well written. It keeps you reading (although, admittedly, with this one I could only listen in small bursts because certain… events made me so nervous, I could only listen whilst doing specific tasks) and it honestly makes you want to go to google to search all the mysteries Pip constantly refers to.
I also loved the characters. They, and the relationships, were so believable.
I cannot recommend this series enough.
Graphic: Blood, Death, Gore, Injury/Injury detail, Kidnapping, Murder, Stalking, and Violence
Moderate: Drug use
Minor: Fire/Fire injury
