dirtymartini 's review for:
Fighting Destiny
by Julie Trettel, Sara Meadows
.
The first 30% the reader is forced to follow Elise as she jumps through windows and slinks out back doors to avoid ever meeting her true mate, Patrick.
Basically she was a coward, and she even admits it, but well, there ya go.
Patrick never seems to get pissed off about this. He gets frustrated and a wee bit sad at times.
It wasn't interesting to read about. In fact I could just as easily have been reading the directions on a macNcheese box with the same amount of enthusiasm.
Really the story didn't get interesting till 80% in.
Honestly, I'd just skip this one if I were you.
I'm sure book 3 will update you as to what you missed anyways.
But WAIT... maybe you should read it for a good laugh. 3/4 in there's the silliest paranormal creation story ever! It all ties in with Noah's ark... I kid you not...
Safety is good
I'll still read more by this author though.
