Staring At The Sun: Being at peace with your own mortality by Irvin D. Yalom

challenging hopeful reflective slow-paced

I wasn't enjoying this book for the first 30%. I felt like I was reading it out of obligation at one point and didn't want to finish. But for some reason I decided to keep pushing forward and I was pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed the rest of the book. I even found myself enjoying the last chapter which was directed toward therapists specifically. Ultimately, I gave this a 5 because I liked the author's message
about facing the terror of death (instead of evading it) and using it to give your life more meaning.
