Savage Lands by Stacey Marie Brown

5.0

5/5 stars!

Incredible read with twists and turns, a strong heroine, and a sexy as hell, mysterious anti-hero.

As soon as Ms Stacey Marie Brown mentioned Jason Momoa in the foreword, I knew this would be a book after my own heart. Especially since it plays in Budapest, and she uses a lot of Hungarian words and phrases (most of them correctly, too!).

Braxley's life goes down the drain quickly, and she ends up in a serious prison. This book is pretty dark, and she does have to perform acts in the prison that is not for the faint of heart. Regardless, I couldn't put the book down. Her wild spirit and determination to live, mixed with the mysterious anti-hero of the series had me on the edge of my seat from beginning to end. I thoroughly enjoyed this book, and cannot wait to read the next one!
