There was definitely some really important stuff in this, about making new friends and a lot on adoption which was very moving.
However I understand why I didn’t like this book as a child. There’s a lot about the fairy book series, and that part never interested me. Overall a decent story that I would suggest to children, but comparing it to the other MG books out there now, it sadly wasn’t anything special.
