Walking Disaster
by Jamie McGuire
5 stars. Scrap that there isn't enough stars to describe just how amazing this book was.
I loved beautiful Disaster, I have literally read that book 5/6 times without never becoming bored with it. Travis will always be in my top #3 of book boyfriends. When I heard Jamie was going to release a book from Travis' POV I was a little skeptical. I had no reason to be because in my opinion Walking Disaster blew BD straight out of the freaking water!!

In walking Disaster we meet Travis and Abby for the second time. The prolouge ripped my heart out so from page 1 the emotion had literally brought me to my knees. We understood exactly why Travis acted exactly like he did. As a young boy he had suffered an extreme amount of loss and grief that no young boy should have to endure.
Travis POV really did have my heart breaking for him. He really wore his heart on his sleeve and it only made him fall for him all that more. I felt every emotion he felt and it gave me a deeper understanding to BD.
When I slowed to a stop at Morgan Hall, I felt the tiniest bit of closure, but it didn't stop my heart from shattering." ~ Travis Maddox.

Abby kind of grated on me a little in this book. Mainly because I hurt so much for Travis. She was blind not to see just how much Travis was in love with her, I mean really?!
I'd stuck my neck out, and she slit my throat.
The supporting characters where excellent as per BD but I loved seeing more of Travis' family and the supportive role Shepley played towards Travis.

"To douche bags! And to girls that break your heart and to the absolute fucking horror of losing your best friend because you were stupid enough to fall in love with her." ~Travis Maddox.
So sad the journey with Travis and Abby is now over. Another lingering book hangover to add to the list :(
