The only ACOTAR book that made me cry. Well-written with an interesting plot. I could not put this down and this book definitely wins the best smut award for Nesta x Cassian . The messages about hope sometimes felt a bit cheesy / over-the-top / in-your-face but it’s a nice message and not too constant. I guess my biggest complaint is that it felt like the plot was very elaborate and intriguing only for a lot of it to end up in a wash in the ends. But overall excellent, fun to read, with believable character development and relationships (SO important!).
Moderate: Medical trauma, Miscarriage, Rape, Violence, Gore, Pregnancy, Sexual assault, Injury/Injury detail, Death, and Death of parent
Minor: Alcohol and Torture
