The One Memory of Flora Banks by Emily Barr
5.0
Wow. Seriously, I was not expecting that.
Fluffy YA is my go to, and I expected this to be very similar to my normal read, but I was so wrong.
Barr creates a sense of confusion that permeates everything you read. Suddenly, you are Flora, you are unable to trust anyone, not even yourself.
I loved the plot, the Cornish countryside contrasted with the snow, everything came together, each sentence a contradiction of the one before until you just sunk into it, into the confusion and the fact that literally ANYTHING could happen next.
I turned the last page wanting more. Reeling from a story I couldn't wrap my head around.
