Deep in the Alaskan Woods by Karen Harper

1.0

This book was not even a little bit good. Do yourself a favour and skip it. Damsel in distress, leaves bad relationship, falls in love and gets engaged with handsome outdoorsman/knight in shining armour over 10days. Channels her horrible inner Nancy Drew while trying to puzzle out who the murderer is, all the while using the dumbest “personal tragedy” to try and relate to everyone else who actually did endure life traumas. Also does not do any Justice to the title. She is never “deep” in the woods. She’s only goes within a few hours walk from where she is living. And the author didn’t do any justice to the fact she’s in Alaska. Could have put this story in a forest anywhere. Annoyed with myself that I read this.
