robin hobb writing >>> (the fact that we got this in 3rd person, multi-perspective too was everything). love the world and the magic a lot but my god did this feel like it took my whole life to read bc of how long it was and it didn't help that i didn't latch onto one single character nor enjoy any of them tbh, i can tell that they're are going to go through the craziest development with the other bks already tho. (also thought that i was going to like this series more than fitz's but shockingly not so far)
