The Hidden Oracle by Rick Riordan
4.0
Rick Riordan is absolutely one of my favorite authors! The thing about his works is that it always made me feel like the myths are real (aren't they?). I like it when there are pop culture references because it always made feel like the story is happening parallel to my life. Also, I like how the book is open to gender equality (Apollo likes women and men, and NICO AND WILL!!!). And I've always liked how the stories are narrated first person because the character are often sassy and funny, especially in this book where Apollo was the main character. It was interesting to read the mind of an Olympian god and to see Apollo become a mortal and realize his flaws. PLUS, I really like that Percy appears (as a not-main character) in the story and that the story tells what happens to the other characters. It's like a never ending series and I LOVE IT! AND LEO!!
