C is for Corpse by Sue Grafton
4.0
One-sentence synopsis: Our dear detective Kinsey Millhone meets a man at the gym who is certain that a tragic car accident was actually an attempt on his life; after he gets murdered, Kinsey is the only one who realizes he had plenty to fear.
A fantastic addition to the Millhone series. I thought this one had the most interesting premise, in that it steered clear from the traditional client approaching her at her office. The mystery is pretty strong throughout. I thought the climax was appropriately paced, but there were some actions that seemed to come out of nowhere (I feel like Kinsey came up with the idea to X-Ray the corpse out of nowhere, and I would have SEVERAL questions before I tossed around that solution).
