I didn't expect this one to be amazing, but it managed to fall short even of my very low bar. Set-up was a little unbelievable, which I could have gotten over, if the characters and writing weren't so terrible. Lance and his 'shyness' felt forced and repetitive, like the author could think of literally only one way to show his conflict. Tide, on the other hand, was so pushy, cocky, and aggressive, it made me feel very uncomfortable.
