I am not a huge fan of romance! This was my first book in this genre and I absolutely loved it. I was the same age as the protagonist when I read this book, so it hit all the right spots for me, so I dont know if this is a love story that I would enjoy at any age! It is still a very good book, left me in tears after reading it ,even though I am not much of an emotional person.
I would definitely recommend this. The movie version wasn't so great, it was dull!
