The Little Book of Exoplanets by Joshua N. Winn

5.0

I haven't read a nonfiction space book that impressed me in a while??? But this one! It went right into my reread pile :)

I've always been interested in astronomy but oftentimes the math and science eventually gets too hard to understand and authors (imo) don't do a good job at explaining things for the common people like me 😅 but this book was committed and I liked the baby steps. But they weren't just baby steps, I felt like we learned a concept in one chapter and then slowly, as the book progressed, we'd develop the concept and get higher and higher in the chain

It didn't go into the detail I wanted, especially in later chapters, but I'd definitely read another book by this author. And speaking of, this author also has recommended readings between concepts, which was nice. One of the books he mentioned was one I bought a while back! I guess it's time I finally picked it up xD
